do have any means to shoot video of yourself and send to me or post on youtube or vimeo and send me the link? it's kind of hard to tell without seeing you. on squats, the cue is to drive out (think applying pressure from your feet outwards on the floor). When you drive outwards versus down, the hips are more explosive and you return to a standing position quicker. it also takes some time and consistency to develop this speed strength. make sure that you do them at least 3 weeks in a row, possible longer as you're developing the technique.
