What is High Octane Fitness?

High Octane Fitness is a private training facility located in Dublin, Ohio.  Our strength and conditioning program is designed to safely and efficiently improve your fitness level as defined by what you can do, not what you look like you can do.  We care about how your body functions and moves.  We care about how well your body can produce work of different intensities and durations.  This is the way training is meant to be!   

The movements we train and practice have been selected from a variety of physical training disciplines including power lifting, Olympic weightlifting, strongman, basic calisthenics and gymnastics, kettle bell lifts and running and rowing.  These movements require athleticism and proper technique.  We place a heavy emphasis on learning proper movement technique prior to adding intensity of any kind.  Sloppy technique is inefficient at best, but will more than likely lead to injury.  It is forbidden at High Octane Fitness! 

The majority of our clientele train in small groups with a maximum coach to client ratio of 1:4.  This ensures the highest quality of movement coaching and allows us to design workouts that adhere to the training principles that are the foundation of any legit strength and conditioning program:  progressive overload, variety (to avoid accommodation), individuality, and specificity.  Private training is available upon request.

What can I expect? 

You can expect to get better.  Expect to see significant improvements in overall work capacity as well as improvements in physical abilities such as:  strength, power, speed, stamina, endurance, balance, coordination and flexibility.  Expect to learn in detail how to squat, lift, push, pull, clean, press, snatch, swing, throw, climb, run, jump and row to the point where you could do our jobs!  Expect to receive top notch movement coaching coupled with solid programming that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel.  Expect to be excited about your fitness and the meaningful impact it can have on all areas of your life outside of the gym.  Expect to be challenged mentally and physically, while having fun at the same time

Our training fees are not the lowest in town, nor should they be.  Our coaches come very high credentialed with Master’s Degrees in Exercise Science, multiple highly regarded strength and conditioning certifications, and combined decades of experience.  We provide a service that has the same benefits of private training without the high sticker price.  Most trainers keep their clients in the dark as to their training methods, so that they continue to re-sign.  They keep their clients guessing by creating ridiculous workouts and equally ridiculous movements that cannot be replicated without the trainer being present.  We do quite the opposite.  Ours is the school of fitness.  You will get an education while becoming fitter! 

Is this the right program for me? 

Everyone can benefit greatly from our program, but it is not for everyone.  Generally speaking, the clients that benefit from our program the most are:

Current fitness level is not a pre-requisite for becoming a client at High Octane Fitness.  Desire to improve is all we need to deliver a service and program that will be of extreme benefit to you!
